The aim of this project is the establishment of an artificial ecosystem of hard substrate and of high aesthetic value by using technology of artificial reefs. The park will be located at depths from 15 to 30 meters in an area of 35 acres. In a second phase, there will be the dumping of a decommissioned naval vessel. The Underwater Recreational Park with Artificial reefs in Ag. Nikolaos area will be visited by divers and will provide a new recreational - educational experience in developing an innovative form of tourism in our country. The feasibility study, the environmental impact assessment and the preliminary techno-economic study are completed.
